Pancha Karma:

Panchakarma involves cleansing the body after lubricating it of all unwanted wastes. PANCHAKARMA is comprised of five (five) KARMA (procedures). A unique feature of Panchakarma is that it includes preventive, curative, and promotional actions. There are three doshas (tridoshas) that combine these elements: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, each with their own balance. Disruption of this doshic balance results in disease. As Panchakarma is done individually for each person, it requires close observation and supervision as it is done with their specific constitution and specific disorder in mind.
